Was it medical malpractice that killed Kanye West’s mother?
Nov 16th, 2007 | By Michael L. Saile, Jr., Esq. | Category: Blogs, New Jersey Injury Information, Pennsylvania Injury InformationAs the national news industry has reported, Donda West, mother of music artist, Kanye West, died just days after her cosmetic surgery in Las Angeles, California. It is believed by many that she died due to complications from her surgery. An autopsy will be performed soon to determine the exact cause of death.
This surgery appeared to be an elective surgery. Either way, a licensed doctor performed the surgery which is suspected to have caused her unexpected death at age 58.
The question must be answered as to what exactly caused her death. Was is something totally unexpected or was it something that can easily be prevented? Of course, initially, everyone wants to point the finger at the plastic surgeon. Hopefully, the coroner will find evidence of the truth.
Did she have too much surgery all at once? Certainly, this could be prevented.
Perhaps the doctor followed all the established medical procedures and rules pertaining to this kind of surgery, then there should be no medical malpractice case. But if the surgeon cut corners and did not perform the surgery or follow up on the surgery as he should have? I am sure that there will be many Los Angeles lawyers ready to take the medical malpractice case.
What do you think about the situation?

i would like to know what the cause of death was…
was it a heart attck… infection… stroke… poison reaction, heart failure, lung issue, kidney failure.
was it an instant death, or did it play out from illness after surgery in a hospital?
do you know how she died, what the circumstances were?
if we could get the analysis quality control reports for the nupigen shots my dad got every other day for 2 months months before he died, … heck, if they didnt have them, could we prove the shots were not what they were suppose to be in potency or name, heck, maybe thats why my dad died, the shots were garbage..
after the cfirst round of chemo there were NO blasts in the blood, and the nupigen shots were suppose to increase the level of good blood cells to a good level… what happened, did they give him placebos?
It was reported on several news shows that she had consultations with other more \”reputable\” surgeons and was told that they would not perform the operations she had desired because she was a high risk patient. So, the moron (West) goes to a less reputable surgeon to have the procedure done anyway (the surgeon who performed the operation was located in a reportedly shady part of town above a Kinko\’s store). The moron got exactly what she deserved in my opinion, because she knew the risks and risked her life for the sake of vanity.
i do not think it is right to classify doctors or anyone as shady just because they work and provide service in a low economic comminity!
if somerthing was done wrong, not in the right, the a lawsuit should follow…. i dont care what economic class or neighborhood it took place in.
According to you, are you saying, people in harlem deserve less then quality medical care than people on park avenue?
you can not judge someone based on economic status, they must be judged by their hearts…at least thats how i feel
and once you judge someone as being poor or from a shady part of town, you are willing to give them dangereous medical care?, and not follow standard procedures?
