Pennsylvania Association for Justice Honors MADD

Saile, Jr., Esq. | Category: BlogsMothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is an organization which has helped thousands of Pennsylvanians and their families recover from the often tragic loss caused by drunk driving accidents. MADD is here because “after the crash… there’s the impact.” It is because of this service that the Pennsylvania Association for Justice has awarded MADD with this year’s Community Service Award.
MADD’s efforts to combat the effects of driving under the influence (DUI) in Pennsylvania are significant. MADD provides emotional and financial support to victims and their loved ones through Pennsylvania’s Crime Victims’ Compensation program. Other missions include educating Pennsylvania children about the dangers of and laws against underage drinking; using designated driver programs, safe party guides, and holiday e-cards to educate adults on ways to prevent drunk driving; ensuring our justice system is wisely handling DUI cases by monitoring the court system; supporting the development and passage of DUI-related legislation such as ignition interlock, passenger restrictions, and mandatory testing which promote MADD’s position; and recognizing, encouraging, and supporting our law enforcement officers who are our first line of defense against drunk driving.
Unless you know someone who is a drunk driving accident victim, you may not understand the depth of the loss and the support they and their families need. The work of MADD complements the work of lawyers and of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice in many ways.

as the article states, ….. madd is great at supporting victims of dui, …… however understand what the artlicele said….

….. this sentence also applies to car accfent victims across the board, not just victims of dui drivers, but victimes of negligent drivers
as you know, my mom was catostrphically injured in a cvar accident 17 months ago, caused by the negligence of as catholic priest in the diocese of trenton ,…………
me and my mom suffer , because the church cant breing themselves to help us, …. because ofd a secular self insurance matter,
the situation is pathethic and crippling to faith, ….. but also sureal when you add in what madd does for victims
