Bucks County woman drives drunk with her four-year-old child in the back seat!

Behrig was stopped by local Warwick police after being reported by a motorist who called 911 after witnessing Ms. Behrig’s vehicle driving into oncoming traffic on Almshouse Road, Bucks County. The witness believed Mr. Behrig to be driving under the influence.
According to police, when Behrig was being pulled over, near Long Road, she drove her vehicle off the road.
The police officer discovered a 4-year-old child sitting in the back seat, while Behrig looked to be falling asleep in the driver’s seat. Behrig was charged with the following: DUI, endangering the welfare of a child, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving, and a lane violation.
If this is the woman’s first DUI offense, the woman will not qualify for the Bucks County District Attorney’s first offender program otherwise known as Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD). A Bucks County DUI Defendant is not eligible for Bucks County ARD if the DUI Defendant is caught driving under the influence in Bucks County with a child under the age of fourteen (14) years old.
